Dear Bus 6 Parents,

We returned from our “off Shabbat” energized and ready to take on the next leg of our amazing journey.

Our first stop was at “Leket Israel” where we picked tomatoes. After an hour or so we had picked enough vegetables to feed around 400 poor families throughout Israel!

Next, we participated in a truly unique experience called the “Invitation to Silence”. It was a series of interactive programs all focused on understanding what it’s like to be deaf. Without speaking a word, we were led through a maze of exhibits highlighting the various forms of non verbal communication. Our leaders were each amazing and incredibly articulate deaf persons.

What an experience!
