Dear NCSY TJJ Bus 6 Family,
We’re back!
After a restful weekend with our families or friends, we joined our TJJ NCSY Family. We boarded the bus to the Bar Kochva caves to see one of the places where the Jewish rebellion against the Romans took place after the destruction of the second Temple. Bar Kochva and his community lived in these tunnels and built a city underground! It was a little tight so some of our group sat out, but for those brave enough for the journey underground it was an adventure!
We continued to Tel Azeka to see where David beat Goliath and continued to learn about Biblical animals at the Slifkin museum in Beit Shemesh.
We settled in our new home in Jerusalem for the next week and began to prepare for the upcoming days.
