Dear NCSY NJ TJJ Bus 6 Family,
This morning we made our way down to the City of David, King David’s home and saw the history before our eyes and walked through Chizkiyahu’s water tunnels. The tunnels were dark and narrow, but together we navigated through and sang some of our favorite songs.
We climbed up the mountain to enjoy free time in the Old City and then headed back to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat.
Before Shabbat at the Kotel we plan to light candles and have a snack at my sister’s house in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.
