Dear NCSY TJJ NJ Bus 6 Family,

Today, Sunday, we commemorated the 9th of Av, the saddest day in the Jewish calendar.

During the day we read 6 lamentations that referred to different periods of time in Jewish history. We then viewed the movies “Beneath The Helmet” and “Schindler’s List” while some of the group visited the Gush Katif museum.

Towards the end of the day we travelled to the Kotel where we joined thousands of other Jews in prayer and song for our ultimate redemption.

We ate a delicious break fast at Kafit and came back to the hotel to prepare for another wonderful day on TJJ!
