Dear NCSY NJ TJJ Bus 6 Family,
Our day began at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial museum in Jerusalem. We learned about our history, felt the pain of our ancestors, and resolved for the future how we’ll prevent another holocaust in the future.
Our next stop was the Herzl Museum where we learned about Theodore Herzl and the start of modern day Zionism.
After some free time in the Old City of Jerusalem we explored the Kotel Tunnels. We traveled back two thousand years and walked the same stones as our forefathers during Temple times.
We made our way to Gan Sacher for a BBQ and sports. To end the night we heard from Dr. David Luchins about the Arab Israeli conflict and gave us food for thought.
Best,
Rabbi Shmulie Greene
