Dear TJJ NJ Bus 6 Family,
Today, on Thursday, the NCSY TJJ NJ Bus traveled to the kibbutz of Misgav Am where we learned about the security of the Lebanese border from a self proclaimed Zionist and “Jewish Redneck” Arieh Amit (originally from Cleveland, Ohio!!). We then hiked the beautiful and refreshing Snir stream that flows into the Kinneret. From there we followed by an amazing raft journey down the Jordan river. There really is nothing better than enjoying calm cool water as we drifted down stream on a hot day.
Tomorrow we tour the holy city of Tzfat as we get ready for a tremendous Shabbat in the Golan.
