Dear NCSY NJ TJJ Bus 6 Family,
Today we said goodbye to the Golan.
Monday began early (6:00 am wake up) with a hike in the Zavitan valley! There we enjoyed seeing the beautiful scenery and swimming in the natural pools. After lunch at the Zavitan the NCSY NJ TJJ Bus Family went to the De-Karina Chocolate factory where we were shown how to make Israel’s most delicious treats!! After filling up on every type of chocolate imaginable (seriously I’ve never seen that much chocolate before in my life) our journey headed south.
We are sleeping tonight at Kalia, adjacent to the Dead Sea, as tomorrow we will cool ourselves off in the same pools that King David enjoyed and go up to Masada.
