Hi Bus 6 Parents,
Hope everyone is doing well.
We brought in Tisha B’Av ( the Ninth of Av) at the Haas Promenade, in the Talpiyot neighborhood of Jerusalem, with a majestic view overlooking Silwan Valley, Ir David, and the Old City. There were a number of other groups on the hillside yet we managed to find our very own little nook to sit and read Eicha (Book of Lamentations). After, we talked about being better friends as a way to help rebuild the Temple. We sang a little and headed back to the hotel.
It was a meaningful and moving experience.
Next year in Jerusalem!
