Dear Parents of TJJ Bus 6,
This week has been a whirlwind of excitement and emotions as we have made our way down from the Golan back to Central Israel. We started off at Aqua-Kef in Tverya followed by a dance party as we sailed on the Kinneret. The following day our bus had the opportunity to be hosted by Mr. Joseph Stechler; an incredible long standing supporter of TJJ, at his home in Zichron Yaakov. I hope that you all had the opportunity to watch parts of YOM NCSY which we celebrated on Wednesday evening. Our bus had a blast dancing and singing with more than 2,500 people at Park Ra’anana. Last night, we said a temporary goodbye to our Bus 6 family as we began our “free weekend”. About 30 of our participants are spending Shabbat with their friends and family while the remainder are spending a beautiful relaxing Shabbat at the Ye’arim Hotel in Maaleh Hachamisha. Next week will be our last full week of TJJ and we will be making the most of it, spending the first half in Eilat and then making our way back North to the holy city of Jerusalem.
